FAB Firearms Academy is looking to hire a licensed, skilled instructor who embodies our vision and matches our dedication to empowering women! The ideal candidate should be passionate about self-defense and the right to bear arms, consistently punctual, and have a desire to continually learn and challenge themselves. Our instructors are expected to be highly skilled shooters and firearms safety experts. You will be an independent contractor, allowed to set your own schedule and working hours. 

Position: Basic Pistol Instructor (Private Lessons)

Pay: (Per Diem) $45-$50 per private lesson completed, DOE.

Location: Conway, AR

Job Duties: 

• Educate and train students who book private lessons with FAB Firearms Academy. 
• Promote safe handling of firearms on and off the range.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) at all times.
• Responsible for class set up/clean up - punctuality is a must!
• Supervise shooters and Range Safety Officers on the range. 
• Know and execute emergency response plans as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to legally own a firearm.
• Must have a strong understanding of firearms safety and basic firearms knowledge.
• Must have reliable transportation and cellular service.
• Must own at least one handgun.
• Must be available on weekends between the hours of 8AM-4PM. Weekdays are optional.
• Must be a certified Range Safety Officer or obtain the certification through FAB Firearms Academy prior to start date.
• Must be a certified Pistol Instructor with a qualifying agency. 
• Professional liability insurance highly recommended.
• PREFERRED: First Aid/Medical Training.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about self-defense and the right to bear arms, consistently punctual and have a desire to continually learn, train and challenge themselves. Part time positions are up to 20 hours per month.  

Position: Range Safety Officer

Pay: $20/hour

Job Duties: 

• Promote safe handling of firearms on and off the range.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) at all times.
• Conduct range safety briefings as needed.
• Assist with class set up/clean up.
• Assist shooters with stoppages/malfunctions on the range.
• Know and execute emergency response plans as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a federal background check.
• Must have customer service experience. 
• Must have a strong understanding of firearms safety and basic firearms knowledge.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have reliable cellular service.
• Must own at least one handgun.
• Must be available on weekends between the hours of 9AM-4PM.
• Must be a certified Range Safety Officer or obtain the certification through FAB Firearms Academy prior to start date.
• PREFERRED: First Aid/Medical Training.
