No experience or permits are necessary for most of our courses. In fact, we welcome those just starting out on this journey. People of all experience levels are welcome at all events unless otherwise specified in the course description.
All deposits and registration fees paid to FAB Firearms Academy are non-refundable. However, fees paid can be transferred to another date if needed (see Rescheduling Policy below). For one-time training events where there are no available dates to reschedule to, non-attendance will result in the forfeiture of any registration fees paid.
If registered with deposit only, balances are due in full 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. Failure to pay your balance in full will result in the cancellation of your appointment and forfeiture of any deposit paid.
There are no refunds in cases of accidental registrations. Promotional codes cannot be used retroactively.
FAB Firearms Academy reserves the right to cancel classes at our behest. In these instances, students will receive a full refund, or they may choose to reschedule to a later date.
If a student is unable to attend their scheduled training, they are allowed to reschedule once at any time and for any reason. For all subsequent reschedules, a $35 fee will be assessed and must be paid prior to confirming your new appointment date.
Late students will be allotted a 15-minute grace period which will count toward their total lesson time. At the 16-minute mark, the appointment will be cancelled and marked as a No Show. Thereafter, the No Show Policy below will apply.
No Show Policy:
A student is considered a 'No Show' if they fail to report to their scheduled appointment within 15 minutes of the appointment start time. Same day cancellations are also considered No Shows.
In either instance of a No Show, all registration fees paid for that specific date will be forfeited, and the student must repay in full in order to attend a future class. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Inclement Weather Policy:
Classes will not be cancelled nor refunded due to light rain/cold weather. Students may choose to reschedule due to inclement weather, however, it will count towards their one free reschedule.
If weather is dangerously inclement, classes will be postponed to a later date. We are unable to process refunds due to inclement weather as it is beyond our control.
Gifted or Sponsored Training:
Occasionally, we have individuals and organizations donate to FAB Firearms Academy to sponsor or offset the cost of a student's training. When this happens, we raffle off the free seat via our social media and the winner must schedule their training within 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the gift and a new winner will be chosen.
Rescheduling is also not permitted in these instances. Failure to attend your scheduled training date will result in forfeiture of the gift and a new winner will be chosen.
Yes. Children/young adults ages 12-20 may accompany a registered parent or legal guardian over the age of 21 to Private Classes only.

While we do not offer online classes, we do publish eBooks that are available on our website and are great sources of introductory knowledge for beginners. View our eBook catalog here.
No refunds will be issued in the event your application for a carry permit is denied by the Arkansas State Police, as this is a circumstance beyond our control. Please verify your eligibility to obtain a carry permit before booking.
If you are concerned that you are ineligible to attend a firearms class or obtain a carry permit, you may pull your personal Arkansas Criminal History report online for $24 here.
Stuff happens. If it has been 6 months or less since your class, we will send you a replacement training certificate at no cost. If it has been more than 6 months, your initial Training Certificate would be officially expired, and you must retake the full course to obtain a new certificate.
