Range Rules
All Federal, State, and Local firearm laws must be obeyed.
- Felons or those who cannot legally purchase or possess a firearm are not permitted to register for any FAB Firearms Academy classes or events.
- Always know the condition of your firearm and treat every firearm as if it were loaded.
- Always keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction.
- Always keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you have made the decision to fire.
- Always identify your target and take note of its surroundings before firing.
- NEVER attempt to catch a falling/dropped firearm.
- Range commands issued by FAB Firearms Academy staff must be obeyed immediately and without question.
- Children must be at least 12 years of age to attend training events. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian and supervised at all times.
- Eye protection and ear protection are mandatory and must be worn at all times on the range.
- Everyone is a safety officer! Report any unsafe activity or conditions to the FABFA staff immediately.
- Never attend training events under the influence of alcohol or drugs. FABFA staff reserve the right to remove you from the range based on the suspicion.
- Always wash your hands immediately after shooting and/or gun cleaning.
- Pregnant women are strongly discouraged from attending training events.
- In all live-fire courses, students must be able to sit or stand for at least 20 consecutive minutes.
